Saying hello and was uppp!

Post by cyrix » 2005/08/16 16:15:29

I am new to this Forum and to the Linux World. I have been a Systems Admin for almost 9 ½ years now and honestly I'm sick of Microshit and their ransom prices for their software. I ran a successful ISP for over six years using just Microsoft OS, talk about rough :)

I have my own rack and eight servers sitting on a Gigabit connection with Time Warner in Central Ohio. I also Sys Admin for a couple of lawyers and other businesses locally. If we make the switch I am sure I will be bringing MANY others this way.

I have questions about a few areas but want to try and figure things out on my own first.

I really like this OS and believe in your project. I feel this OS will be one that can help change the future for desktop users and advanced users. Thanks again for your hard work.
