The terror of systemd

Post by 666threesixes666 » 2014/12/29 00:41:41

there is alot of fear uncertainty and doubt orbiting around systemd. i like centos however the wiki is too locked down for random contributors. even some of the ssh advice is to throttle connections rather than properly address the situation with sshguard. i give up, my list of viable linux distributions has been narrowed to http://www.funtoo.org/ sorry :?

As I've seen you post about this on the two Linux forums that I regularly follow, I am beginning to wonder if you're simply wandering around Linux forums to get people to look at funtoo.
Daniel Robbins writes good stuff, and does some of the best documentation I've ever read--working with Gentoo back in its early days, with his docs, taught me a lot.

Anyway, if you want to avoid systemd, yeah, Gentoo and Slack are about all that's left. Good luck.
