Issues with downloading ansible
I am new to CentOS and I am trying to become familiar with the platform. I am trying to download Ansible and I am in the sudo list btw and keep receiving the same error message. Please be kind and help
Re: Issues with downloading ansible
I have changed the subject line to better reflect the issue as you've explained it. I realize when you're new it's hard to know information to give, but most people will ignore a post with the line please help.
Please don't take this wrong, but I'd suggest looking at how to ask questions the smart way at http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
In this case we need to know what error message are you getting? (DON'T POST A SCREEN SHOT, copy the text), Are you installing through dnf or yum or trying to install it a different way? With this information, perhaps someone can help.

Re: Issues with downloading ansible
I apologize for not getting back to you sooner, I have been extremely busy. As to that post, it was my first post, and I was just testing the waters. I have tried downloading it with dnf and yum, but am having no luck. I am going to try install Ubuntu and see if I have better luck
Re: Issues with downloading ansible
Ansible is in the EPEL repo for RHEL/CentOS. You will need to yum install epel-release first then you can yum install ansible
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
