CentOS

I am trialling RHEL 8 in a development environment but I would like the server to eventually be used in production and thus that has to be Centos 8.

For Centos 5, 6 and 7 it was possible to migrate RHEL to Centos and there are various guides on how to do this. Will the same be possible for 8?

Theoretically you could just redirect your repos to the CentOS ones, however I wouldn’t recommend this. I highly suggest taking what you learn from your RHEL lab and provisioning a fresh C8 node that has a predictable state.
