[SOLVED] RHEL6 to CentOS6 transition

Hi there!

I was looking for a stable, Gnome 2 distribution to switch after Fedora 14 reaches it's EOL, and RHEL6 feels like the best choice, but it's evaluation period is nearing it's end. I'd like to know if it's possible to add CentOS6 repos, and go on with updates from there? How will it change the installed RHEL6?

Currently I'm using these repos:

It should be as simple as removing redhat-release and installing centos-release and dependencies to use CentOS-6 updates, when available, similar to the process described in the Wiki [url=http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/MigrationGuide]MigrationGuide[/url] article. At some point a Wiki article should be developed/updated to cover the EL6 procedure. Please post your experiences to help with the process.

I have successfully applied the procedure described in the wiki to move my RHEL 5.* to CentOS without any issue at all.
