Re: yum -y update php

My personal use for upgrading, installing PHP is the 3rd party repository called Remi. After installing the repository, you'll have different repo files for the different PHP versions that you can enable/disable as you like. But keep in mind, if you enable like both PHP 5.6 and 7.0 and you execute y...

Re: systemctl mysql & mariadb

Trevor: Beautiful story about the relation between MySQL and MariaDB. Loved it. :) However, I wish to argue at one point and that is the part where you say There should be no real reason to use mysql in preference to mariadb... My developers are working hard with PHP projects a lot. And recently the...

Re: Failed to load default target: No such file or directory

What CentOS system have you installed? A minimal server or a desktop one with Gnome? This is just to clarify what was your default setting.

Also when did this error come up first and what have you done before it, that required a reboot?

Re: OMD Start Error

Did you add at least one server and tried to connect to it with telnet before in terminal? Until you don't say: Yes, telneting form server to host works - I can't help you at all.

KVM Host-Guest network connection with bridged NIC

But anyone knows if their dev team planning any moving forward with this issue? https://wiki.math.cmu.edu/iki/wiki/tips/20140303-kvm-macvtap.ht...

Re: OMD Start Error

What root password you've lost? The system root (SSH) or the login for the website? The first one is not easy to recover, indeed but possible. The 2nd one is easy, just generate a new htaccess file on the server and done.

Re: OMD Start Error

Dear Friend, You don't really understand the concept of Server and Client Server I think. On the 1st picture I can see a lot of hosts. They are the ones I'm trying to refer to as clients. You have to add them one by one to the newly created monitoring server. As far as I can see (it it way too blurr...
