Re: Server crashed - Why?

Thanks Trevor,

Where would you try to look for possible error messages? I've checked messages, security, nginx and mysql. No issues found. Is it just me or it looks like when you simply pull the power cord out of a server?

NFS mounts as nobody:nobody

A fifth server acts as NFS server and contains the folders I wish to mount on the other four. The /etc/exports file: (exportfs -a was done) /shares/nfs 10.0.0...

Re: How to install rpm packages without internet...?

If you have a similar computer with the same OS you can just type the following: yum install HP-Printer-driver --downloaddir=/root/rpms/ --downloadonly This will download the RPM it self + all other dependency for it. If the RPM can be downloaded only from the HP website, just do the same, I assume ...

CentOS 7 + MS OneDrive

Hey Forum,

I need to mount a Microsoft OneDrive folder into a folder on my system. Is that even possible? If yes, then how?

Re: systemctl mysql & mariadb

I've just received an email saying there is an issue setting up our webapplication written with Laravel 5. The issue is database releated, so I've asked for a log or error message. Here it is: ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 25: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to y...

Re: Failed to load default target: No such file or directory

Could you mark somehow the end of the /var/log/messages file (like pressing enter a few times and save the file) and perform a normal restart. After that, return to rescue mode and tell us what you see in the log file. Might be just a simple linking issue, but might be hard drive error too. At this ...
