Re: How to register a package as Daemon service?

It's just a testing server, I am trying to test SSL mimicking feature that comes with 3.5 and above... so This is the why I am doing it this way. The squid package on yum is 3.3.8 which doesn't support SSL related features. Thanks for directing me... I'll try to do it using systemd.

Re: Configure DNS server for get IP from DHCP.

I am not sure what you're trying to do exactly but there's a good tutorial on youtube that helps you get a grip on bind... go to youtube search for "danscources" and in his channel search for you linux and you will fine few good tuts over there.

Re: How to compile a package?

I have squid 3.3.8 installed but I need Squid 3.5.x to configure SSL bumping. I am not sure if I can recompile the package (3.3.8) with the required flags.

Squid not blocking IPs

I am really confused, I am not sure where I am going wrong.... I have a centos 7 installation with Selinux disabled. I am using this machine as a router and firewall (with squid) to block stuff. URLs and etc are working fine but I am not able to block any IP. Need directions to configure it properly.
