Re: Qualcomm Atheros AR242x / AR54sx Wireless Network Adaptor

Thats annoying. IIRC it is supported under 6.x. when you say it is supported under distro r8169 module, is that installing as per https://centos.pkgs.org/7/elrepo-x86_64 ... 4.rpm.html

Thanks

Re: Error "No package rtl8187se available"

Sorry I didn't include that info. The repos are installed, as you see I have just tried with no luck.

I have also spotted posted in CentOS 6 but I am running 7.

Any details on where I'm going wrong too would be appreciated.

Error "No package rtl8187se available"

I tacked onto the back of a resolved thread asking for help installing a wifi driver on CentOS 7 but with a mixed response. I have a Realtek PCI Express WiFi card. After performing the Device ID, It appears I need rtl8187se.ko. So I added the repos rpm --import https://www.elrepo.org/RPM-GPG-KEY-elr...

Re: LVM partition layout

Is it /home or / that's running low? A clean GUI install (with a few extras) is around 7GB, so if it's / then you've collected quite a bit extra. Maybe some temp or log files can be deleted?
