Re: installing CentOS (different versions) on dell precision m6800

Had this same issue on my Dell Precison Laptop. The MMC refers to the Multi-media card reader. This should not affect anything performance wise unless you are trying to use the card reader. On my Dell precision I have linux Mint with Mate desktop installed. If I remember correctly, I was able to ove...

I have a client that runs SBS 2011 and Exchange the domain (AD) is sd.local. I am moving the AD to a centos server using samba 4.6.7 and originally I was going to keep it sd.local. Ive been hearing about containers here and there but have not had time to read up on them. I use Virtualbox and have about 4 VMs running. I also have a client using it. I like it because that is what I have always used I guess. It does a good job for what I need it to. - Linux Mint (main host) - Cen...

Re: NAT Network did not allowing to connect internet in Virtual Box while using Centos7

Normally I will configure the guest OS in VB with a bridged network connection.

I have a separate firewall box that acts as DHCPD also. My VB guest gets its ip from the firewall box in bridged mode.

Is there some reason you do not want to use bridged mode for your guest os?
