So by reinstalling do you mean i should reinstall just yum or the complete OS? If i reinstall the complete OS wont i loose all my current data?

Backup your data to an external drive, then reinstall.

Maybe consider reverting back to later FF edition, perhaps after some Firefox bugginess has been fixed.

Websites may complain about outdated browser, and of course browser security is an issue with older editions.
