Re: Dosbox Audio Problem

I don't remember how I installed and configured timidity, its been a few years...

Try searching for a tutorial, I am sure someone has written something relevant. You may also ask in the dosbox forums, people there are quite friendly:

Re: Dosbox Audio Problem

there is nothing wrong with dosbox, what you see is the right error because you haven't installed a virtual or real MIDI synthesizer. if you search around, you'll find various solutions, like MUNT (Roland MT-32 Emulator), which requires that dosbox games support MT-32. Details here: http://www.marsh...

Re: Need help with SSL on Apache

The directive "SSLEngine on" is REQUIRED, so if your apache config can't run with that, then that there is implies a serious problem. Interestingly, it should be there by default when you install the mod_ssl package. That confirms the above... check all your /etc/httpd/conf and /etc/httpd/conf.d fil...

Re: Need help with SSL on Apache

well, without looking at your full config, its hard to say, we can only guess at the problem. have you checked the logs? maybe there is something there: /var/log/httpd also, do you have SELinux in enforcing mode? (you should!) then check the /var/log/audit for any AVC errors, you may temporarily set...

Small typo: the private key should not be readable by anyone but its owner, the user root. That is u+rw , not o+rw.

Re: Need help with SSL on Apache

The certificate files should be under /etc/pki/tls/certs and their keys should be under /etc/pki/tls/private. The keys should be u+rw (owner only), no other access needed. Those paths are compatible with SELinux, for both Fedora and CentOS.

Re: Need help with SSL on Apache

The first thing I would check, is that the FQDN is defined in every virtualhost with a proper ServerName directive. If not, that will cause problems by loading the "default" site. The second thing I would check, is your definition of the virtualhosts, from the link I posted above, the docs write: Wh...

Re: Need help with SSL on Apache

If I remember correctly, the default configuration for mod_ssl, is to listen at ports 80/443 for ALL virtualhosts by default. That happens because the httpd.conf adds one listen for port 80 and ssl.conf adds a second listen for port 443, when apache parses the configs, the result looks like: Listen ...

Re: Postfix - Unable to send emails

Based on that error, it seems like googlemail.com refused your connection, maybe due to spam reasons. Maybe your IP address is blacklisted or has bad IP reputation. Your postfix config seems ok, but I don't agree with how its set, its missing lots of important items (*_restrictions). For example, th...

Re: Postfix log

You may increase the verbosity level per daemon (smtp, smtpd, etc) by adding the "-v" option in the equivalent line in master.cf. More details here.

I'll PM you my own configuration, maybe you can get some ideas.
