Re: Estimated time before official openssl rpms are released

Does anyone know where communication or announcements from CentOS will happen when an openssl patch is released? In the meantime, I've been doing "yum upgrade openssl" to see when a patch finally gets released.

Re: Black screen on logout

I am logging in from init 3, doing startx, and trying to logout. I've tried using KDE, and I get the same result. I have even tried ctrl+alt+f3, ctrl+alt+f2, and nothing happens. Any ideas?

The only way to use KDE and switch users is to shut down the computer and restart :-(

Re: How to disable touchpad clicking/tapping?

I am definitely keeping my thumb off the trackpad - it's just so sensitive that it detects movement when there isn't any. It's been several hours, and I'm seeing some posts about the touchpad being an ALPS touchpad, which requires compiling and patching parts of the kernel source. Is this the right ...

How to disable touchpad clicking/tapping?

Hello. I am using CentOS 6.3 on my laptop. Every time I type, the touchpad somehow gets clicked. This moves my cursor all over the place and results in many weird e-mails or frustrating edits. I would like to disable the tap to click behaviour of my touchpad. How can I do this? I've already tried us...

Re: Black screen on logout

Yes, there is something in that log (Xorg.0.log), but I can't make any sense of it. Suggestions? Here is the sections from the log: [quote] [ 153.632] (II) AT Translated Set 2 keyboard: Close [ 153.632] (II) UnloadModule: "evdev" [ 153.632] (II) Unloading evdev [ 153.637] (II) Lid Switch: Close [ 15...

Black screen on logout

On CentOS 6.3 (using a laptop, with an i7 processor), whenever I logout, I get a black screen. The only way to get back to a login screen is to power off the computer and power it back on. Does anyone know how to resolve this? I do not see anything off in /var/log/messages.
