I have a CentOS 7 server which has a 22" Samsung Monitor attached to it. However, it is picking it up as HP 17" Monitor. CentOS takes a long time to print but Windows works fine
I have a printer that prints fine from the Windows machine. When jobs are sent from the CentOS machine, it takes around 20 minutes to print the job. The CentOS machine prints fine to other printer but takes a very long time for this single printer. Printer has been power cycled and CUPS has been bee...

Re: hung_task_timeout_secs and blocked for more than 120 seconds
It is CentOS 7, I am just explaining that it's not an anti-virus issue as there is no anti-virus installed.

CentOS 7 : Group descriptors corrupted
I found the following in dmesg and I am wondering what I can do to fix it: EXT4-fs (snumbd1d): group descriptors corrupted Will I need to take the server offline in order to recover the file system or is it possible to do it without taking the server offline? EXT4-fs (snumbd1d): ext4_check_descripto...

Re: hung_task_timeout_secs and blocked for more than 120 seconds
There's no anti-virus on the system and no updates were installed either. It just randomly happened and hasn't reappeared after the reboot.

Re: hung_task_timeout_secs and blocked for more than 120 seconds
In this case, systemd-sleep is waiting for I/O and have not been allocated resource for over 2 mins. Does this mean that something is taking up all the resources and preventing systemd-sleep from accessing the disk? Could it be hardware failure or inadequate power as the PSUs were failing intermitte...

hung_task_timeout_secs and blocked for more than 120 seconds
I am getting the error message 'hung_task_timeout_secs' and 'blocked for more than 120 seconds'. So the process systemd-sleep is stuck in the D state which means it's waiting for some resource. Does this mean another process is utilise that resource and it is unavailable for the systemd-sleep? Also ...

Installing Radeon HD 4550 driver
I am trying to install AccuTerm using Crossover Linux. When I choose to install the software, it complains that OpenGL is not working. I've tested 3D acceleration and it works fine. I have spoken to Crossover Linux support about this and they mentioned that the 32-bit graphics card driver will also ...
