This may be a red herring, but can you show us the output of: cat /etc/sysconfig/named The permissions seem like they shouldn't be a problem, provided that there's no odd configs in that file. Check me on this, but your exports entry looks off. The network/subnet would suggest that only the 192.168.0.0 address (not network, address) would be allowed.
