LXC is a "light weight" virtualization technology. There really is only one kernel, the one running the host operating system. It has a feature named "containers" which lets you "boot" create lxc virtual guests, but you're not really booting up multiple kernels, each which it's own sysctl settings. ...

FYI, s390 is the 31-bit OS. s390x is the 64-bit version.
