Re: [Errno 14] curl#60 - "The certificate issuer's certificate has expired.

Check your date/time. The certificate that I received by running openssl s_client -connect download.postgresql.org:443 -servername download.postgresql.org | openssl x509 -dates is valid until "notAfter=Jan 19 05:08:11 2023 GMT"

Re: Certificate "AddTrust External CA Root" expired on 30/05/2020

I did not run the update because this is a production server.
It is your production servers that need the updates most! Those are the ones that you will suffer most from having them compromised.

The certificate you are complaning about no longer exists in the trust store once you update.i

Re: Broadcom 4360 on Centos9

Broadcom's license on driver and firmware does not allow third party redistribution so you will need to acquire both firmware and drivers from some other source. It appears you already have the driver, check in /var/log/messages to see if it is complaining about a missing firmware file and then goog...

Re: Future of CentOS???

CentOS 7 is still alive but goes EOL in about 18 months time, in 2024. Red Hat "acquired" the CentOS Project back ion 2013/14 and promised that they would not make any changes to the way it was provided. They then announced in late 2020 that they were withdrawing support for CentOS Linux 8 as of the...

Re: Installing Glang for C++ 20 in Centos 7

The latest clang available for el7 is llvm-toolset-7.0-clang.x86_64 7.0.1-1.el7 centos-sclo-rh If that is not new enough then, sorry, you're out of luck. CentOS 7 is from 2014 so most of the packages available for it are of a similar vintage. It's on life support until 2024.

Re: DNF update issues

Why are your repo files pointing to vault.centos.org in the first place? That's for dead versions of CentOS, not currently ones.
