Re: Suggested KVM switches for CentOS 7

I use D-Link 4-port USB DKVM-4U switch without any issues. In general, KVM switches use PS2/USB keyboard/mouse connectors to power them selves, and also (maybe, YMMW) to detect is that connection is active, if to switch to it or not. There should be no issue connecting monitor directly, unless KVM s...

Re: Graphics Adapter AMD Radeon R5 M230 drivers

There is a problem. R5 needs AMDGPUPRO drivere (http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-Radeon-GPU-PRO-Linux-Beta-Driver%E2%80%93Release-Notes.aspx). You need to run instalation file that will unpack rpm's, and then install it. Elrepo does not create kmod driver for current kernels. I hav...

Re: Rsnapshot + script + ssh + mysqldump = problem

One posibility is to create txt file with all folders/servers and use "read" and "for in do" loop.

Other possibility is that that folder messing everything has space in folders name, and you need to use ", "path" instead of path.

Re: Finding Cause of Memory Leak

I have solved my problem by booting into Rescue mode and assembling RAID's and let them resync. Then I Started CentOS Installation process again, fresh, destroyed LVM from old system, formated RAID10 partition as physical LVM partition and then created fresh LVM group and partitions and installed Ce...

Re: Finding Cause of Memory Leak

New BIOS has not helped. Also, while I was in GNOME I added system-monitor to upper panel and graph has not shown any significant memory increase before it froze again.

Re: Finding Cause of Memory Leak

I am having a same problem with fresh Minimal Desktop install. Plan was to after that add server components (I always use NXServer). MB is Asrock A75 Pro4-M (AMD chipset with VGA), RAM is 4x4GB=16GB, HDD 3x1TB. Boot is 500MB in RAID1, and the rest is in RAID 10,f3 (Total=1TB). LVM is on top (standar...

Re: Anyone got eSATA working, with CentOS 5.6 x64, on HP ProLiant Microserver (or any other hardware)?

Same here. I have add-on card with 2 SATA/eSATA ports and it just works. What comes to mind is if you use all 4 SATA ports for internal storage, you can not use eSATA since most likely ports are shared (A x SATA + B x eSATA where A+B=4). Maybe you need additional drivers for your system? Go to ElRep...

Re: net.ipv4.ip_forward

Ok, guys, time out. 1. Hook monitor and keyboard directly to CentOS box and login directly. 2. Remove settings from eth1 interface. 3. Set/change eth0 with "StaticIP" from now on called public IP, with default gateway to whatever ISP gave, and set proper DNS servers so CentOS can get DNS records fro...

Re: External traffic starts going over internal interface

Only thing that comes to my mind is DNS problems. or maybe our assumptions are wrong. We definitely need more info. What does your server exactly do/acts as for local LAN? DNS? DHCP? gateway/NAT? When you say everything starts going via local network, what does that exactly means? Examples please. I...
