Thanks for the quick reply Trevor! I was reading a guide provided by linode.com for setting up Postfix and virtual users and the guide stated you needed to get the Postfix version from the CentOS Plus repos. Postfix and MariaDB support

Does the version of Postfix in the base repo have support for MariaDB or do I need to grab the version from the CentOS Plus repos? Is there a way to tell what's supported in the base version?

What does your zone file look like? If you did something like the below, it would cause the FQDN to get appended to the record name making it ns01.wcbc.local.wcbc.local. Hence, it would append wcbc.local to the short name of ns01 and the lookup would work. Whereas using the FQDN would append the dom...

I know this is marked as solved, but I wanted to let you know that markkuk gave you misinformation. A DNS caching name server should be recursive and allow recursion. It's an authoritative DNS (start of authority) server that should NOT allow recursion. An SOA should only resolve what it is authorit...

Try deleting the following file as root.

rm /var/lock/subsys/sendmail
Then do a

You could setup a cron job to remind you to do it every 90 days for example. Also, the link below shows how to add and remove passwords assigned to an encrypted partition.
