Having trouble configuring BIND for my webserver

Sorry for the newb question, but I am having a hell of a time trying to configure BIND (chrooted BIND 9.2.4 specifically) on my CentOS 4.7 machine. Very simply, I just want to make my BIND server authoritative for my domain, to let my domain name resolve by its name... Below is a copy of my named.co...

Re: Kernel panic error... Anybody know whats wrong?

Thanks. I know I need to update... I don't exactly know how to update my systems here and I should post that question elsewhere, but if anyone could throw me in the right direction as to where I can get some instruction on updating that would be awesome. Thanks again!

Hey guys, Please excuse my ignorance, as I am fairly new to the Linux world. I have a few web servers that I am maintaining (CentOS 4.4), and their backup they have in place now (using ftp unsecurely) seems a little unorthodox and insufficient, so I am trying to implement something a little simpler ...

How to create a virtual IP - CentOS 4.4

Hey guys, I am new to the forums and new to the Linux world. Although I am fairly new, I am picking up ground extremely fast due to the fact that my new job is administering 8 CentOS web/email/ftp/dns servers. Here is my question... One of our servers is getting up in age and I decided to build a ne...
