I am running a server with CentOS 5.1 with software RAID 1 across two identical 500GB HDs. I'd like to physically remove one HD from the server, leaving one HD remaining to do with as I please. If, in the rare event I need to boot up CentOS from the pulled HD, will it work if I just plug it back int...

I put it on my Pre. Looks great, but I think the optimal size for my Pre is 320x480. It's got a pretty tall screen. Looks really good, actually...thank you!

That happens to me, too. It takes forever for sendmail to load. I always end up uninstalling it...then the system will boot up very fast.

How about port forwarding on your router? Maybe enabling that could help. I'm just not sure since you say your firewall is off. That's very strange.
