Are you familiar with [url=http://elrepo.org/]ElRepo[/url]? You might want to go there first before installing the driver that came with your hardware. Basically the difference is you will no longer reinstall the driver everytime you update your kernel.

It's [b]libgcc[/b] and not [b]glibc[/b]. You should not be downloading the packages manually. Instead, use the yum command to install/update/remove packages.
