are "domain" and "sub-domain" the same windows server version? If "domain" is windows 2008 you may have some issues... https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=561325 why not doing trust relationship between domain and sub-domain? In production since march, we never had problems with it, about 40 concurrent users

maybe you should try
./runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs
