This is rather ackward. I have been a longtime user of Centos and have installed it on a wide assortment of hardware. Getting decent performance from some graphics cards can be daunting. But the network is normally a no brainer. As you failed to add any usefull details in regard to your network card...

I am not even starting on MythTV itself.

The first step is to get the DVB-C board working itself. As long as I am missing scores of kernel modules it is hard to get the card working. So neither will MythTV be any good as long as I do not have a source for the TV signal in the first place.

Hi, My current MythTV server runs FC4 but FC4 is out of support now and I do not like the 6 month cycle attached to FCx.
