thank you for the initial help, i have installed the dhcp vsftpd on my computer, now my problem is i wasnt able to edit the dhcpd.conf, it seems that i cannot open the dhcpd.conf in a terminal, ive check it in the file system etc folder and dhcpd.conf is there, but how can i access it for editing. h...

sir when i type /sbin/modprobe -v tulip or dmfe, in the command line it just display this "/lib/modules/2.6.9.42.0.8.EL/kernel/drivers/net/tulip.ko & dmfe.ko, and if i type /sbin/lspci -v, it just loop back and dispaly nothing.
