CLUSTER CENTOS6.2 CMAN CCS RGMANAGER COROSYNC RICCI LUCI

Hi there, There are no fencing devices configured and therefor the cluster nodes are unable to perform a STONITH to "kill" the other node if there is any doubt that the node did not shutdown correctly. You should start with reading this chapter from the RHEL 6 Cluster Administration documentation: h...

Re: Mobile workstation recommend.

Hi there,

My vote would go to Lenovo Thinkpad W510 or W520....awesome machines.

Checkout: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:W520

Although CentOS 6 is not listed there I am pretty sure that it will run decently.

Max Filesystem Size?

Hi there,

See upstream limits: http://www.redhat.com/rhel/compare/

But in short, 16TB for EXT3/4 and 100TB for XFS ;)

Re: Load Balancing NFS

Hi there,

I've never done anything like this but you could try this:
https://fedorahosted.org/cluster/wiki/MultiHeadNFS

However there is a huge issue with nfs locking when a node fails....you might want to think about that.

Hope this helps you.

Automatic Cluster failover.

Hi there, Hate to be the boring guy but if you are going to run a RHCS cluster then start with reading the manuals for the Cluster Suite. It's going to be painful if you don't. Understanding RHCS is vital....otherwise your experience will most likely be extremely crappy. ;-) Here is a link to the 5....

Trouble with clustered storage

Hi there, Do you have clvmd running on all nodes? I'll have to admit that I have never tried to configure a cluster without all nodes having access to the same shared storage. But if you have clvmd running on all the nodes I would start with shutting it down on the nodes that will not have access to...

How to reset (clear) statistics for the "netstat -s"?

Hi mate,

I'm pretty sure that you cannot do that without rebooting :(

Disable application monitoring in redhat cluster

Hi mate,

Checkout this url: http://sources.redhat.com/cluster/wiki/ServicePolicies

This should explain restart/relocate and help you in the right direction.
