you can try this, is a bit dirty but may work

check if you have a libmysqlclient.so.x and then do a symlink to it called libmysqlclient.so.16

btw, i could install de package with yum without problems i have the libmysqlclient.so.15 on my box

yum install xmlrpc

you shouldn't have problem xmlrpc is in the base centos 5 repo

do you see the login screen on the machine ?, i mean

server login:

the x86 represent the 32 bits intel's family cpus, so the i386 arch is in the x86 group.

you should modify the hosts file on the clients machines or you can create a DNS zone on your DNS server for the localdomain, i guess yours dnss servers are; nameserver 192.168.0.1 (its a bit weird because your net class is 192.168.1.0 as far i can see on your ping tests) nameserver 205.171.3.65 any...

there are some scripts you can use as brute force detector (they uses iptables obviusly to block the failed logins)

actually yes, i guess they do, because over the way you have configured your ftp client, you could used different ports to traffic data. easy way to check is put the iptables down and try, if it not well we can look around elsewhere check it this out for more info: http://www.linuxhomenetworking.com...

i don't see a problem in the vsftpd.conf file, what is the /var/log/vsftpd.log showing ?

are you using iptables or a firewall?

Download the .tar.gz file from the intels website, untar it typing tar -xvzf file.tar.gz on the console and try executing the install.sh thats in the dripkg directory...

any problem post the error output.
