[SOLVED] The CentOS watch is fast

You could sync ntpd (Yes I have read the initial post) against the mother (Windows 2008 server), then will the CentOS virtual machine have the same time as the Windows 2008 server :-)

Note. You don't have to have Internet to run ntp, you just have to have another ntp server to fetch time from.

after install

Change init to 5 from 3 to get X windows started instead of CLI (Command Line Interface) and there is no DOS in Linux other than emulated or virtual.
