Re: Use a different driver for wireless card?

I think I may have figured it out. I needed to disable Power Management on the wireless card. I installed wireless-tools. yum install wireless-tools That added the iwconfig command. With that, I was able to disable Power Management on the wifi card. iwconfig wlp6s0 power off WAY better than before. ...

Re: Seeing some network lags with new CentOS 7 install

Sigh. Yeah, I was trying to avoid the obvious (and being lazy since the pc is buried under my music workstation desk) but yeah, its the card. Connecting with a cable stops all the lag. Now I need to figure out why the wireless card is having issues... or just buy a different one. Luckily they...

Lag in Putty window - New CentOS 7 install

Hi. I'm not sure if this should be in network or general since I'm not sure what the issue is, but please move it if necessary. I just did a fresh install of CentOS 7 with the Gnome desktop (also updated all the packages) on an older i7 Asus motherboard system and I'm seeing some lag every 3-5 chara...
