Backup and Restore
Hello,
I would like to take a snopshot or backup my whole OS on PC or on USB. In case system crashes or sth. I want a way to restore my OS with full functionality. Is there a way to do that? I can create the system from the beginning by the way. I just want it to be safe and sound.
Regards,
Özlem

Log alerts at crash instants
Hello,
We've configured a syslog server and remote access on Centos 7. What we would like to do is to be notified when there is a system froze or breakdown. How can we accomplish that?

Centos 7 on Poweredge R220
Hello, Dell indicated our Poweredge R220 server driver doesn't officially support Centos 7 but it supports RedHat. We have Windows Server 2012 R2 up and running. Do you think it is safe to install Centos 7 for Syslog server purposes? We are also considering VMware and Centos 7. Which one makes more ...

Configuring Syslog-ng on Centos7
Hi all,
I am trying to configure syslog-ng on Centos7 as I stated on topic. But I can only get internal logs and it seems like I am not able to get the internal logs completely let alone external logs which is my intention by the way. Can you please guide me through the configuration.
Thanks,
Özlem
