Re: What's Up With Kmod-Nvidia?!?
In my case other packages are broken too, so I've been using the --skip-broken option (which I believe to be a relatively safe practice, but correct me if I'm wrong).

Re: What's Up With Kmod-Nvidia?!?
I was about to post on this very same issue! How long do you reckon (any good estimate?) we will have to run yum without ElRepo?
Also, I guess excluding kmod-nvidia in ElRepo .repo file should work for now?

Forum Issues
Hi all, I first noticed some weeks ago that user profile avatars are no longer being displayed (at least mine). Not a big problem, but I was just wondering if this is on purpose (I can re-upload an avatar but it does not persist). Also, the top right drop-down menu by your username does not seem to ...

Re: Does discord supported by centos7?
You might have tried this already, but... have you given the official tar.gz a try?
Also, check this thread on GitHub which suggests downloading the package from here.
Hope any of that helps.

Re: How old are you? How long have you used CentOS?
I think it is kind of surprising that 42 per cent of people are above 40---way above that 26 per cent of people in their thirties, which I was expecting to be the modal value

Re: yum repository-priority rules
Thanks for your reply. That makes total sense, I was so fixated with priorities... which is, by the way, the option suggested in ElRepo's documentation

[SOLVED] yum repository-priority rules
Hi all, The question is simple; what exactly happens when yum-plugin-priorities sets the same "N" value for two enabled repositories? A bit of background: I thought giving the same "N" priority-value to two different repositories would make yum install/update the highest version of a package regardl...

[Solved] CentOS 7, Firefox, and Spectre
Hi all (Happy New Year), I was wondering whether it is recommended to update Firefox to Firefox-Quantum (v.57) in CentOS 7. As you know Spectre is all over the news, and according to this Mozilla security note , Spectre is mitigated in their newly released Firefox 57.0.4 (my CentOS 7 packs v.52 as I...

Re: PyGObject for Python 3.6
I got it from IUS indeed, but couldn't find anything relevant on their website . Maybe it's worth asking them directly. Also, I tried with Anaconda's Python 3.6 but to no avail. EDIT: alternatively, perhaps should I be looking for a Python 3 version of "gi"? I know Debian users have something called...
