Re: VMs different networks with same source IP address.

I am computer programmer and this may or may not help. My host is a windows box and in my Oracle VirtualBox I created a Host-only Network (Preferences|Network) and then for each of VM's I give them two adapters the first one a NAT adapter so they can get to the internet and the second a Host-only Ad...

[SOLVED] google-drive

I have a question on the new folder icon on Centos 7.4, after I logged into my google (gmail) account, I now have a folder called my email@gmail.com on my desktop and when I open it it shows me some PDF's and some other documents. My question is how did this get here, and how do I add documents to a...

Re: Unable to compile on centos 7.4 : error: expected ‘,’ or ‘;’ before ‘typedef’

Just trying to help, found this thread interesting my default 7.4 shows following: [dlazov@zovs-centos7 hello]$ make test cc test.c -o test [dlazov@zovs-centos7 hello]$ ./test Hello world [dlazov@zovs-centos7 hello]$ rpm -q glibc glibc-headers gcc make glibc-2.17-196.el7.x86_64 glibc-headers-2.17-19...

Re: How to upgrade GNU C library and gcc

Okay a little more searching and I found this on their page. Not sure if Centos will address this or not.

http://blog.robomongo.org/robomongo-is-robo-3t/#centos

Maybe in Centos 8 ?

Re: How to upgrade GNU C library and gcc

So I installed the SCL packages and I do have access to gcc 6.3.1 which is cool. But the basic problem remains. When I execute that script to run Robo3T I see this: [dlazov@zovs-centos7 bin]$ ./robo3t ./robo3t: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.18' not found (required by /home/dlazov/devtools/robo3...

Re: How to upgrade GNU C library and gcc

Thank you TrevorH,

So I can just use this and should be fine?

https://www.softwarecollections.org/en/ ... toolset-6/

It seems that once I do this in a terminal I would run that script and then be able to run Robo3T?

How to upgrade GNU C library and gcc

Currently in Centos 7.4 I see that gcc is at 4.8 and glibc is at 2.17. I would like to update gcc to 5.4 or 7.2 if possible and glibc to 2.18 or 2.26. I have an application that requires 2.18 to run, Robo3T (used to be Robomongo) and when I try to run it from the terminal I see: [dlazov@zovs-centos7...
