Re: upgrade CentOS 8 - 8.1

In the link below "nmaludy" says he went from Stream to regular CentOS. Haven't done it, so I couldn't say if it works: https://forums.rockylinux.org/t/centos-8-centos-stream-rocky-linux/2343/5 And if you try it, just in case, make a backup first. Re: iptables- restore issue

If you haven't already done it, you could disable firewalld and use iptables:

Re: iptables- restore issue

C7 was introduced in 2014 and your iptables-save is from 2013.
So it was saved in C6 (or earlier) - could this explain the problem?
Firewalld is the default firewall in C7 - is it possible to use an old
iptables-save with firewalld? And why do you need a firewall when
you have no internet access?

I think you can get the scrolling boot messages by
pressing Esc when the rotating boot icon shows up.

Probably won't work, can you get to console login with crtl+alt+F2?
If you can, then it could be a problem with the grapichs card and driver.

Or this:
sed -z 's/\n/<BR>\n/g' input.txt > output.txt
A bit of web-searching also suggests that tr could be used.

Re: Dell PE R740 Rack With Perc H750 Raid Conttroler

Don't know the answer, but it may help if you boot
from a live CD/DVD and post the output from this:
lspci -nn | grep -i raid
