I did the step by step procedure from Red Hat. Still does not work for UEFI.
Anyone that has solved this? If not, is it a Red Hat/CentOS 8 bug?
Thanks.

Re: UEFI with kickstart
I have also tried it... When I try to make it hybrid, I get:
isohybrid --uefi /ISO/boot.iso
isohybrid: Warning: more than 1024 cylinders: 7272
isohybrid: Not all BIOSes will be able to boot this device
Still does not work... The funny thing is that the original ISO works...

UEFI with kickstart
I am trying to create a custom CentOS 8 ISO that includes my kickstart and I got it working properly for BIOS. However, UEFI boot does not work and always load the UEFI shell (see picture below). The original CentOS 8 ISO works ok on my KVM machine but my custom one does not. To create the ISO I am ...

Re: Error setting up base repository
Solved! The problem was that I was using the boot.iso.
The DVD ISO works properly.
Thanks.

Error setting up base repository
I am trying to install CentOS 8.1.1911 on KVM using virt-manager. However, I am getting an "Error setting up base repository" message. My Linux is Fedora 31 and I did an update today. Also, I have checked the CentOS iso sha hash and it is ok.
Any clue that can help me?
Thanks

This is a kind of "scary situation" for dummies like me! Anyway, many thanks for the answer.

Re: Fake certificates installed on Firefox
As you probably noticed, I am not an expert on security. So, I do expect that installing basic components of CentOS, from the official repository, I would be on the safe side. This said, how safe am I if I get unknown and unauthorized certificates installed by default on my browser? Like millions of...

Fake certificates installed on Firefox
Look the attached screen shot. Can anyone explain why, on a clean CentOS 7 install, we get these fake certificates installed on Firefox? To reproduce do: Install CentOS 7, 1511, minimum install (i.e.: on a KVM virtual machine) Once it is installed, run: # yum groupinstall "X Window System" # yum ins...
