The card is not recognizing the tape drive. I have to fix that but will no be able to play with card configuration until tomorrow morning.

Hi All, I am trying to add a tape drive to the centos 7.7 server I have. I have LSI logic SAS9200_8e pci scsi card and hp lto-7 ultrium tape drive. It does seem to recognize it. I am going to look at the link you sent me. But I do have other CentOS servers that had no problem with update and the md_clear is still there in the cpuinfo file.

Hi Trevor,

The new kernel did not have md_clear in the cpuinfo. I have edited (virsh edit) the XML's and taken out line with md_clear and the VM's launched fine.

Do I need to start a new to thread to figure out how(why) this happened?

Hi Trevor, I think they do. Bellow is from cpuinfo. I included processors 0 - 3. There are 24 CPU's on this server (it looks the same for all 24). I see md_clear in the flags. This is booted using the old Kernel. Do I need to check that if booted in the new kernel. If it not there how do I add it. W...
